Sooo Cold..

Its soooo cold in the garden..we are having a period of heavy frost...We are keeping each other warm,thats what friends are for..stay warm and stay happy my dear friends outthere.....we are on our way to a New Years day..

After Dinner

This is Mr Bee,after his Christmas dinner...

About time....

Well, it was about time Mr bee came to visit..he had us worried..he disapeared at sea for several weeks..having a wonderful trip..Didn't even find the time to send a message.So..it was a big surprise when we did see him sitting in the top of the tree at Christmas night..Hurray..Hurray....our friend is back..no fun celebrating Christmas without your loved ones..
I completely forgot about my midnight sleighride..to busy hugging Mr Bee.
Promised him to post some pictures this week so you can all see how wonderful he looks...this is the first one ...Have a happy time with the one you love...

Christmas....

OOO,my Goodness...There we where, all sitting down at one of my famous candlelight Christmas dinners, enjoying ourselfs and then it happened ...Santa visited our garden..He just dropt out of the sky..almost into the pond! He parkt his sleigh and reindeers under the tree,and sat down with us under the starry sky..All the little creatures fom The Hill Top came to be with us..
Isn't this magical...
Wonder where I am...well... under Santa's hat...still hoping to go on a midnight sleigh ride...

Hiding...

O...Hello there.....Only two days before Christmas..I am going to help Santa..hiding in his hat......so maybe he will take me for a sleigh ride...and we can go down the chimney together....

Not even a mouse...

Dearest...its almost winter..The 21th of December...the shortest day and the longest night,and then there are just 10 days remaining until the end of the year.
In the garden we are having a real quiet weekend with lots of sleep because the next two weeks are going to be so much fun ..you know..with my candlelight dinner at Christmes eve! Do come and join us..you are soooo welcome.We are also planning a big New-Years Ball..do you like to dance...?But for now..we are all sleeping.Its ever so quiet in the garden. Not a creature is stirring not even...little old me...

By the light of the silvery moon...

A full Moon...magical..
Mr Mole,who lives under the pineappletree next door,came to tell us to be sure to go out into the garden tonight and enjoy the view.And so we did..However..something strange happened when we where standing there gazing at the sky...we all started to act a bit funny.."moonstruck"..We even started to dance...A waltz in the light of the Silvery moon..how romantic..

Christmas rush

I don't know about you but I am getting tired just by looking at me.....

Christmas Lights..

We had a fun day today...very busy with Cristmas shopping and decorating!
The garden looks ever so lovely..its a magical winterwonderland!
It wasn't easy..we had a little problem..We lost the christmas lights...
Well, a christmas without lights in the tree isn't Christmas,so we started a searchparty..In my Houssie,no... I am a very organized mouse. I knew we wouldn't find them there..Maybe in the pond..o dear,then our problem would be even bigger..We had to wake up Gustave ,pour little thing..He came out from under the water lillies mumbeling"Is it Spring yet"? And then was very disapointed to see Snow..
We kindly askt him to go see if the Christmas lights where on the bottom of his pond.Gustave likes to collect beautiful things you know,the pond is full of them,especialy with shiny coins. A real treasure according to Gustave!
Gustave had to think for a minute ,and then said that he was very sure that he hadn't seen lights in months...and please could he go back to sleep..
With a big splash Gustave disappeared back into the dark water..Now what..
We searched every houssie in the garden and became very tired. No lights to be found..
It was already starting to get dark...Shall I light a candle,I sugjested,and then went in my houssie to get one..I love candle light. On special days I give wonderfull candlelight dinnerparties..So I opened my kitchen cupboard and..there they where...The christmas lights..
Can you imagine the look on everybody's face when I came out of the kitchen wearing a string of lights around my neck..Silly me....

We are so happy our Dutchess is feeding the little birdies every day...especially me!
My daily shopping is much easier now..there's nothing like taking a bath in Sunflower seeds...its ever so refreshing!
