Its very still in the garden...Summer is warm and lazy today...We are all doing nothing special....Our Dutchess is very busy....she promised to come for tea on Friday...and we are very much looking forward to that...
This morning she found a young birdie under the lilac tree...it fell out of his nest...Gustave is to keep an eye on the young birdie...(we named him Tweety)...but I a am not shure if he can see the poor thing with just one eye peaking out of the pea soup..

I know that chefs taste their creations, but I have never known a chef to JUMP INTO his own soup! It must be delicious! Give little Tweety a scratch on his little head for us; we anxiously await for another visit from the Dutchess when she is back! Anita
