That was the best meal I have ever had.....that pudding was extra delicious! Must have been the unexpected ingredient! And the polished silver, the imaginary cookies, EVERYTHING including the jazz music from Rattus, was unforgettable. Thank you my dearest Dutchess for hosting the best Christmas dinner ever. I must say, Hilltop is a beautiful, comfortable and sweet place. Mille mercies my friend, Anita
Dearest Dutchess,
Thank you for your positively charming post. I would have given you a larger picture of me dancing on the piano, but it would be ostentatious and undignified, you know.
I do pray that you and your hubby, family, and creaturely friends enjoy the merriest Christmas, as Anita and I are doing here in very snowy Minnesota.
By the way, do you think Miss Mousie would like to go out on a date with me?
Love,
Rattus
A merry event indeed. There is no place like Hilltop for Christmas. Good friends and good cheer make merryment a sweet pleasure for all. Wishing you merryment in your home with glee, joy and good cheer tossed in.
Dear Miss Moussie,
what a pleasant visit today.
Hilltop Hall is definitely the best place to visit for a special Christmas party. The table was set so beautifully, the silverware all so well polished and the pudding, om my, so yummy I'm so glad I came.

Oh my dearest...what a wonderful story about your little lady! Have you documented this in your special way, in book form, with all the wonderful sketches? YOU MUST! What a fun and true Christmas story! Maybe Miss M. can tell the story from her point of view....from the view of a mouse hole!!! Oh, thank you for your visit...you my dear, dear friend, have been the biggest blessing of the year. Stay warm...I am freezing here, with a huge cup of tea! Bisous, Anita
AHHH!! You came to see the Great Gesunheit. He is adorable, isn't he? These little chaps make our garden, Clair de Lune, a fairy tale place indeed, any time of the year. I got up early this morning to blog, then feel asleep again on the couch and then later on, Ruben woke me up to report that he had seen the GG trying to find food. GG accepts with full joy Miss Moussie's invitation to tea...he is freezing! I am anxious to see what new story you are developing! As for me, I have some homework that I need to get to and my thesis...I played enough. HOWEVER, once I am done with that...it is off to the REAL WORLD for me, with you and Miss M. and the rest of the gang. Happy writing to you and your marvelous husband! Anita
