There she goes...

I am alone...well not really alone...My dear friend Gustave is here to keep me company...but our lovelyness the Dutchess is going away for a week...I will mis her so much..and she told me she will mis me too..she is traveling to France..That would be long journey for a little moussie like me, and I believe in France there are a lot of cats..so I better stay safe in the garden..Our dutchess promised to bring back some smelly french cheese..yammy,can't wait!
In the meantime I will finish my knitting...socks for Gustave...his frog legs are always soooo cold...poor old thing!

A concert...

I woke up this morning very early..from a beautiful sound in the distance..what could it be..I hurried outside to listen closely and then it happened..first the sun came out, and with her lovely magical morning shine she made twinkling dewdrop lights on the snowdrops...and then ..oh be still my heart ..the mystical sound came closer and closer..a birds concert..all the birds from our forest where singing together..this could mean only one thing...Spring!
There I was sitting ever so happy and listening to the sweet promise the birds made...In the corner of my eye I saw a little window from the Hilltop Hall open..a sleepy head appeard...our dear Dutchess..she smiled at me..and there we where in the very very urly morning listening together to this hopeful spring singing..because you know what our Dutchess always says.. Hope is a thing with feathers..

A lot to be done...

Today its time to clean my houssie...there is a lot to be done..Listen...before I start working..I have some wonderful news...I am going to be a flowergirl. My dear friend Miss Peach askt me to..she is going to be married...I am so exited,and a bit nervous,because Miss Peach is a cat, and lots of cats will be attending the wedding party.....I am sure it will be a lovely romantic Spring wedding..but I am still a bit upset..so many things to do...Such as picking out a dress..I will keep you posted,and please go and visit my dear friend Miss Peach,she will be delighted to see you...

Hay fever..

Today I am staying in my houssie...its been so chilly and rainy the last few days and I am afraid I did catch a cold...so I am all snuggled up in my little hayloft..Gustave promised to cook....his spaghetti is famous!

In February, House Sparrows (Passer domesticus) begin busily building nests in roof cavities, old woodpecker holes, and in birdhouses . A flock of sparrows will often draw attention to themselves by their noisy, squabbling behaviour particularly when fighting for food...as they do in our garden..noisy little fellows,but sweet!
There is one extremely loud fellow we call Cookie...he is always the first to arive when it comes to food.....

Last snow falling..?

There I go again....Hope I don't get lost..Maybe this will be the last Snow falling this year..Oh..cold, cold, cold, my poor feeties. I believe I have to go to the right..or was it left..Will let you know when I get there,or I will send out an s.o.s! Help..help I am a Lost Moussie...

Coming out..

Gustave came out of his hibernation period today...this is a big leap for a frog and it left him a bit puzzled...asking me lots of questions..this was one of theme..."What kind of a frog am I"..Can you believe that..so I told him he was green..and a frog person with great courage and intelligence..this made him very happy and now he is hopping around in the garden to visit old friends..Do you know what kind of frog person you are.....

I always enjoy visiting the Dutchess,and she always enjoys my visits..But I have to be carefull when there are gasts in the house..not everyone likes an adorable sweet little moussie like me..
