And there he is...back on the Hilltop...Swoop the Swallow

Home..

There's Gustave....sitting in the pond...he is ever so happy to be home again..He now knows that the big city is not for frogs..well nor for a frog like Gustave. He needs peace and quiet..open air..space ..and a thinking spot..Our trip to the city wasn't easy for Gustave..it all started with him getting sick in the car...poor thing.We had to stop a couple of times..so Gustave could take a breath of fresh air and..well you now what happens when you get car sick! Gustave looked greener then green...As always mozes was a dear friend and helped Gustave..Mozes is such a sweet guy..Good thing he came along..He enjoyed the trip very much..and the cookies Gustave baked for Mozes where gone in a second..When we arrived at the concert hall Mozes had to wear his hat(with feathers) and cloak..he was as you could say..in disguise..it worked really well up into the moment where the music started..Ellington..Gershwin..to much swing for a dancing bear so he just couldn't sit still...Our dear dutchess had some real trouble to keep him sitting on his chair...And then a woman sitting behind Mozes asked him to take of his hat...o dear...The hat..that was my seat...I was hiding in the feathers...So better go before things could get out of hand...Mozes got up..mumbling ..so sorry..excuse me..beg your pardon..and with a swing in his step Mozes left the building...Next time I am going to sit in the handbag of our dutchess again...now I missed the concert..this time Gustave was sitting in the handbag because he was feeling so poorly...he could hear the wonderful music but was to sick to really enjoy it..he askt for some earplugs..Well better luck next time..if there is going to be one..I believe then.. our sweet dutchess and I better go together..

Back to the future...

Busy days at he Hilltop..busy and emotional days..but not to worry..the days are also happy and challenging...where will the future lead us...I try to take a look from the highest tree in the garden but no luck,no future in sight,I only can sease the moment from here...so better have faith...and hope..hope that the future will be as wonderful as the past...We had a big party yesterday,and now we go on...there is work to be done! Our sweet Dutchess is packing and travelling,packing and travelling...Good thing she has me...I can remind her of the more important things in live....As soon as I get down from here I am going to help her with the luggage...we are of to see the city and follow the music...and guess what this time Gustave and Mozes are going with us...It might be a bit difficult to get Mozes in the car..but Gustave baked some Honey cookies..this could do the trick...see you in a few days..

Dinner..

Oh..do you smell that..its coming from the kitchen..I do believe Gustave is cooking something marvelous today....Shall we go and see what it is...I am sure he will invite us to stay for dinner....Its ever so lovely in the garden today...There are some new arrivals....little baby birds...And they want some dinner too.......

Up date..

A quick up date from the latest garden news...

Mr Bee came to visit and...won the Egg Hunt...applause for the big Bee...and where did he find the golden Egg...in the bird feeder...Elvira did a great job hiding all the eggs..such a good job that there are still eggs to be found...Maybe next year there will be an Egg tree blossoming in the garden..We where all searching for eggs very early this morning..Gustave woke us all up clanging his pots and pans..Rise and shine...the Egg hunt is about to start...Really..
We had a lovely walk back from the Miss Moussie Traveling show through the Hilltop forest...there was a full moon to guide the way..Well,a full moon always has a strange affect on us....we then become very romantic and dancey...Especially Mozes him being a dancing bear...he danced all the way home..With Gustave and me on his top hat...Our Dutchess followed hopping with Elvira on her shoulder..And now..... time for a big Easter brunch.....have a lovely Easter Sunday..

Well there I go again...following the(Easter) music. The weather is ever so lovely...opened the car window to enjoy the scenery...Its going to be a lovely sunny weekend filled with exiting things...The Theatre on Saturday..the Egg hunt on Sunday...and lots of music...I am off now...Together with my sweet dutchess...BEY,BEY..take care...see you soon...

Easter Bunny

Every year the Easter Bunny visits the garden...this years its Elvira...She will be very good in hiding eggs..we only hope she will not get all mixed up with eggs and nuts.....its going to be a very merry Egg hunt on Sunday..And for the one who finds the Golden Egg there is a surprise...A Medal for Super Egg Hunter of the year...I won it last year you know....

Important date..

A very important date coming op...we are going to the Theatre..Gustave and our dear Dutchess will acompany me..and I think Mozes will tag along too! We are going to watch the last act of a wonderful play...if you want to know more please visit this enchanting place and all will be revealed....
