A strange encounter

Under ground Mister C Mole woke up.....

-Did I just hear my alarm go off...he asked himself....were are my glasses...?
Mr C stumbled out of bed...found his glasses in a glass of water on the bedside table and stood there, next to his bed ...listening....
-That's not my alarm,he mumbled...that's..that's Miss Moussie...and...o dear..I believe my ceiling is caving in..quick.I have to get out of here..

In the garden everbody was running hither and thither...they heard Miss Moussie twittering but they couldn't see her because of the fog...They were running over the lawn with stamping feet causing a little earthquake in Mr C's labyrinth..
Mr Horatio Hog like the others ran as fast as he could..not knowing why..well, everybody was doing it so it should have its reason..maybe there was something creepy coming their way on this misty morning...if only he could see where he was going...

Then...bang...he ran into something round and fluffy...made a flic flac in the air and landed on his nose..
For a minute there Horatio didn't move...no,he didn't hurt himself..but he was in shock...
-I knew there was something there..he whispered..there IS more between heaven and earth and now its coming to get me..he didn't dare to open his eyes..and when he eventualy did.....he saw a dark misty figure appear above him..

This appearance was wearing a striped pyjama and a night cap with bunny ears...it tapped him on his shoulder and said...MORNING old chap....I say...whats all this...

A strange encounter of the prickly kind....

Dearest, you know that I have been missing your art...I am so happy, beyond DELIGHTED to see your magic once again. I was just looking at the story I wrote for you long ago, PRECIOUS LITTLE THINGS WITH WINGS..what fond memories. I hope all is well; I have not seen much of you. My fondest regards to all at Hilltop...Nita

I know all about prickly things. Living with my own little Gretta is a prickle adventure for sure...especially when she crawls in bed and tries to lay her sweet head on my pillow.
I love the line that there is something between heaven and earth...a sweet thought.

May your heart be content and glad as you write and draw. I agree with Anita, it is wonderful to see your animation.

Cheers to the week dear Dutchess and may your heart over flow with sweet moments.
