A sad sad story..

The story I am going to tell you today is a very sad one...

One's upon a time there was a Dutchess...she and her husband decided to go on a trip...a trip to a far away land..they needed a map to guide the way...
After a long ride in there carriage they had to stop for a while and rest...also to drink some coffee and eat a sandwich or two,a little picnic..The Dutchess studied the map..it was laying in the grass...then to her surprise a sweet little frog hopt onto  the map...like it was saying...let me show you the way...Well,if they had taken the route the frog was pointing out they would be ending up in Germany and the Dutchess had to go to France... so she very gently lifted up the little frog and did send him, after thanking him for his help,on his way back into the meadow..
About ten minutes later the Duthess's husband then said....'oke,time to go...'and stood up from his chair...(he always takes two chairs with him in the carriage in case he wants to go on a picnic....)
Then.....all the little creatures in the meadow got scared out of there wits because the Dutchess gave a big scream....O M G....
What happened...the hubby of the Dutchess ...poor guy...was sitting (with his chair that is)on a little frog..and the little thing was as flat as a pancake...

The dutchess was very upset...this was a very tragic accident....She buried the frog under a chestnut tree, and till today she is still very sorry..

Gustave didn't like this story at all...he cried a few big frog tears...as I said...its sad...very sad..

NON, NON, NON! My dearest, I am so sorry to hear this...what an accident. How did your husband feel? Give Gustave my condolences; tell him to come by Clair de Lune this weekend to see the pics from the tea party that he attended, maybe it will cheer him up. Do take care sweet one; we are here in the U.S.A thinking about our friends in the Netherlands. Blessings, Anita
