Harvest time..
Life is taking its course on the Hilltop...Slowly the garden is changing into a majestic Autumn cathedral...when you look up the red orange and yellow colors will take your breath away..And then the light that shines through the branches..its pure gold..!
We all LOVE this time of year...
Its also harvest time...that means we are all very very busy...harvesting!
Miss Moussie is running around...trying to take control...At this moment she is searching for Sir H Hog...he promised to bring back a load of apples for the pies that Gustave is planning to bake...and for us to eat under the Lilac bush on Swap shop day...
Well..I think Horatio found out that there are more things you can do then picking apples on such a beautiful day under the autumn sky .
in the birdsnest...

Oh my!!! What a grand picture...I love picking apples in the fall and nibbling a bit at the same time. Cathy
Apple pie...the smell, the taste, just the idea of it brings back the sweetest memories for me dear Dutchess...we will be right over with a canister of fine tea and a heart full of friendship...happy day, Anita
OMG I just saw Big Bear and Little Mouse.....the cutest drawings on the planet my dear....and what TEAMWORK!!!!
Kicking up some leaves in our neck of the woods. Autumn is trying to be itself, however, summer still wants to burst forth and not leave. I wish Miss M. had some control over our weather!
In anticipation!

I love this time of year. And Horatio looks like a sweet old chap. Those apples he's sitting on are going to be full of holes with his quills. But I will not complain if you make an apple pie from them.
On another note: Dutchess, I don't know how I missed that lovely poem to Miss Moussie by Tea Rat on your side bar further down. Well done indeed.
