A snoring butterfly..

It was a glorious Summer day on the Hilltop...the sun was shining bright...there was no wind and everything was quiet..very quiet..

Miss Moussie was sitting in a lovely shady spot under a balcony of green ivy..nobody could see her there...she often went to that secret place when she wanted to be on her own..There are days when a moussie needs to think and contemplate.
How still it was ..no sounds could be heard....only a soft chirp of a Robin in the distance.
-I'm going to close my eyes for a wee bit..twittered Miss Moussie...its ever so warm...time for a siesta...
And so she did..with her head resting on a soft pillow of clover..she was of to dreamland before one could count to three....
She dreamt about curtains of climbing roses and pink butterflies...suddenly one of the butterflies in her dream started to snore...it made a strange sound while fluttering round and round...-A snoring butterfly...how very strange said Miss Moussie...and because she found this so out of the ordinary she woke up...
-Still...she heard it again...there was definitely someone snoring...and that someone was very close by...
Miss Moussie crawled out from under the Ivy....and saw a Bee...sitting alone, buzzing ,on a tall moss covered stone...

Dear Miss Moussie,
The snoring butterfly is a beautiful dream indeed. I think our dreams speak louder than words at times.
I anticipate a good message behind this wonderful dream of yours.
Sweet post and sweet dreams little one.

Dear Miss Moussie,

What a thing, to dream about a snoring butterfly! But whatever could it be. . . . :)

I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment.

Love,

Marqueta

My precious....how did I miss this darling and secret little surprise...I finally saw your post pop up...it sometimes takes days for your posts to arrive to us over "The Pond", and through the cables under the sea..but here it is for me to be enchanted by. I love Miss Moussie's philosophy that a SIESTA is a good idea. Miss M. and I have much in common....wishes to you and all at Hilltop for a SPLENDID DAY AND NIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF WONDERS!!!!! Nita
