The Dragonfly Ball..part two

The day after...

Dawn.....Its very still in the garden...just one little bird is singing a song..it sounds like a whisper...maybe he chattered a bit to loud yesterday...
Well.. its not the only sound I hear..when you listen very closely you can hear a joyful sound..sweet voices...the tingling laughter of happy people.. The echo of last nights Ball lingers through the treetops......and it will linger on for ever in our memory dear friends...Your lovely company...our daring flight ..our friendship.

There was the Tea Rat...charming as ever..flying so high that we almost lost him in space.....thank god he decided to come down..tumbeling that is...he was rescued by his sweet companion Anita...then they both sat under the lilac tree ..talking about books and poetry...and gazing at the stars...

There was Miss peach...so good to see her...she looked like fairy..and when she starts laughing...you just have join her..she has the loveliest giggle...did you know she is going to be married soon..

There where all the little creatures from the garden...flying and chattering...having so much fun..Gustave...playing his banjo...Mozes singing and dancing in the air...would you believe he did the Moonwalk...
The only one who did not look so very happy was Miss Moussie....why...well,there was this piece of pie...flying precisely in her direction and did hit her..splash...on her delicate little moussie nose..O dear...
For a moment when it happined we all held our breath....then Elvira..being very brave(or just nervous)...started laughing...
Miss Moussie with a face full of pie did not blink an eye...she just grabt herself the biggest piece of pie flying around and ...wel you can quess..Now there where two ladies with pie noses...Then we heard a big bear voice yell....PIE fight...And thats how the Ball ended...We hope you are oke my dear ...O,I do believe there is stil a cherrie in your hair!
Have a lovely day...dream a little daydream and don't forget ..love and friendship are the strenght beneath your wings...
Wasn't it a marvelous flight...

It was a marvelous flight indeed my sweet friend! The Tea Rat will never forget your hospitality and that lilac bush...it softened his fall not to mention my rescuing efforts! Oh but what fun. Thank you for the reminder that love and friendship is the wind beneath our wings. I know that your dear friend that you just lost had to know how much you cared. Blessings be with you dear Dutchess. I have arrived home safe and sound my dearest Miss Mousie from your enchanting Dragonfly Ball! it was such a nice way to spend the evening...meeting new friends and relaxing under the stars.
I have invited the dashing Tea Ratty to come along with you to my wedding when the time comes round to say I DO. Maybe a little romance could bloom between the two of you? I would think that to be splendid...wouldn't you agree?
All my devotion, your Miss Peach

My dearest Dutchess....yes, your garden must be still at the moment. In the stillness, we can hear the memories of those we will love forever! May you have peace and know that you have a friend that cares across the Atlantique! Fondly, Anita and the TEA RAT! :)
