Summer Rain..

It's raining....sweet summer rain...all the flowers in the garden are happy...they are lifting there heads to the sky and let the raindrops kiss them.. Its a good day to take a minute for yourself...just pause for a while..do as the flowers do...lift your head up ..feel the rain on your face and take a deep breath...

I am going to be a very busy bee today...after visiting the Theatre...the Fair...the Dragonfly ball...celebrating birthday's...now we have to go and prepare ourselves for a new season...'Fall'..we call it.. 'the golden time' in our garden...you can all ready see a glimpse of it...the light is changing...so..in the next couple of weeks we take time to say goodbye to this wonderful summer...it has been a glorious one...
Then in the third week of September we will welcome Autumn....and we will do it in style..with a big welcome 'Harvest' dinner...and this year Mr C..is our host...I am so looking forward to it...a dinner in Mr C's Labyrinth... we will keep you posted...
For now...I am going to check my supplies...and fill my cupboards..................

Dearest Miss Moussie! It has been a fun and memorable summer indeed! All the garden tea parties, Miss Peach's wedding, making new friends, theatre presentations and so much more! We are also enjoying, at this very moment, a magnificent thunder and lightning storm with so much rain coming down our faces! We are thinking of you across the ocean and waiting anxiously for your next story. Mr. C. looks like a good, kind chap! Friends are the best remedy, aren't they! Thank you Miss M. for always being our dear friend. Bisous, Anita and the Tea Rat

Tonight I walked the puppies and rain threatened. The puppies seem to know and were in a happy go lucky mood but "mama, we better get home". Clouds and pink and blue skies were all confused tonight at sunset time and leaves were "just hanging in there". A sure sign, of autumn soon to come, in the good ol' Pacific Northwest where we experience all the seasons, one at a time.
