Unexpected..

Miss Moussie and Gustave were sitting in the Kitchen...It was very quiet on Hilltop Hall...The Dutchess was out..all the little creatures were minding there own buisiness, the alphabet safe and sound in the secret drawer, and the Gnome high and dry in the Cuckoo clock..So,nothing to worry about...

-'I dont know what it is'...twittered Miss Moussie...'I have this strange feeling inside...like when very unexpected things are about to happen...I don't like unexpected things...they can be very suspecious!'
-'Dearest Miss',croaked Gustave...'You worry to much, look ouside..the sun is shining...its a perfect day to go ice skating..come on...my pond is your pond...'

It really was a perfect day on the Hilltop...a bleu sky, clear crisp frosty air...and a red and orange sun...shining so bright that it looked like a big ball of fire..

In the snow a very beautiful bird was surching for breadcrumbs...he was sure to find them because our Dutchess never forgets to feed the little birdies from Chatter Creek....Today the Red Robin was very lucky to find bits of chocolate chip cookies..
Whilst he was nibbeling merrily he heard a voice sounding like a little jingling bell,it said...

-Please little Robin...may I nibble with you..cocolate chip cookies are my favorite..

The Robin looked up...to see where this little bell came from..and there it was..sitting on top of the bird feeder..an enchanting tiny creature..

Oh my dearest....this is perfect! I had just finished visiting my blogs and I had even stopped by Hilltop to visit you, but this new post hadn't popped up yet. I thought I would visit my Nocturne, and THERE YOU WERE, my dearest, most wonderful Dutchess with a comment. I hop on over to Hilltop and VOILÀ! A marvelous little creature! I do sso love to have another companion with us! YES, YES! Another friend to accompany us would be splendid! These darlings are ever so special and reside in the recesses of our imagination. This is the year my dear one that I will be using less photos and more illustrations, again, thanks to you. Thank you for coming to my corner. I do love your idea. Have a marvelous day...I am off to work with my bunnies today! Bisous, Anita

Is it a bird, is it a plane? Would it be Mighty Mouse or Underdog? Superman? Who is the unexpected, to be expected?

OH! I just saw the extra comment on Nowhere for my drawing!!! AH! I wrote January 2009! Well, that WAS a very good year for tea, and most definitely, there will be much more in 2010!!! I just quickly sketched out Santasaur today on a scrap piece of paper at school. The kids laughed very hard. I will post him soon on Nowhere because Tea and Rattus are going to have a gentle run-in with him on the way back to the campsite!!! I hope you had fun today dearest...I am looking forward to seeing what you were up to today!

Bisous, Anita

P.S. I showed my French intern your drawings today....we were looking at the blogs and she absolutely adored your drawings...She is a remarkable artist also..."Ah, c'est chou, ça!" and I proudly responded to her, "Elle est mon amie...!"

Oh dearest friend, You know, we are having a bit of snow and wind here at this very moment, which is going to make my drive in and out today very interesting....so my guess is that it took The Tea Rat and Rattus a while to deliver my post to your side of the world! Besides taking that "slight detour" and challenging on the giant gnome, the weather is being a bit of a challenge itself! Oh but how dear of you to come by so quickly! Bless you dear one, and may the simplicity of a quiet and peaceful day warm you and give you the freedom to fly with wings in your imagination! I await the results!!! Bisous, Anita
